Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach me at myndie1128@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Private Pilates sessions are fully customized to your body, goals, and fitness level. They provide one-on-one instruction, personalized exercises, hands-on guidance, and modifications for injuries or limitations—helping you build strength, improve posture, increase flexibility, and move with more confidence and control

Not at all. Private sessions are a great place to begin if you’re new to Pilates. I’ll guide you through the equipment, movement patterns, and proper form so you feel comfortable, supported, and confident from the very first session.

Wear comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move easily. Fitted clothing is helpful so I can properly see alignment and movement patterns. Grip socks are recommended for safety and stability on the equipment.

Sessions are approximately 50 minutes, allowing enough time for a focused, personalized workout while still fitting into a busy schedule.

Pilates can help improve core strength, posture, flexibility, balance, mobility, body awareness, and overall muscle tone. It can also be a great complement to other fitness routines and may help reduce tension or discomfort caused by poor posture, tight muscles, or muscular imbalances.

Private Pilates can be a wonderful option for clients with past injuries, chronic tension, or physical limitations because sessions can be modified to meet your body where it is. That said, Pilates is not a substitute for medical treatment. If you have an injury, medical condition, or are currently in pain, it’s always best to check with your doctor or physical therapist before beginning.

That depends on your goals, schedule, and fitness background. Many clients see great results with 1–2 sessions per week, while others prefer more frequent sessions for faster progress, increased accountability, or support with strength and mobility goals.

Your first session is all about getting to know your body, movement patterns, goals, and any limitations or concerns you may have. We’ll discuss your health history, Pilates experience, and what you’re hoping to achieve, and then move through a personalized session designed to help you feel comfortable and successful.

Pilates is appropriate for many different fitness levels and can be adapted for beginners as well as more experienced clients. If you’re looking to build strength, improve posture, increase mobility, and move with more control and confidence, Pilates may be a great fit.

You can book directly through my online scheduling link. If you have questions before booking, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help you determine whether private Pilates is the right fit for you.
